Combination Instructions
There are two kinds of combination. One is Component Combination, and the other is Device Combination. Component Combination can increase the number of the slots in your components, and Device Combination can improve the rank of an optimizer.

You can see the two options, if you talk to the NPC who is responsible for combination.
 
Component Combination

Needs: Two control cabins or cores of the same kind. The main component must have at least one slot; the auxiliary component can have no slots. If the combination fails, both components break, and are lost. By using a stability chip, the main component will not be broken even if the combination fails.

Put the control cabin or the core with slots into the place for the main component.
 
Put the other control cabin or core into the place for the auxiliary component.
 
Click the switch to start the combination.

If you succeed, the number of slots in the main component will be increased by 1, and the auxiliary component will disappear. If you fail, there is a 50% chance the main component will break.

Success Rate: Based on the number of slots in the main component.
Limit: The component can have, at most, 8 slots. 

Device Combination

Combine two to five optimizers together. If you succeed, the rank of the optimizer will be increased by one. If you fail, the optimizers will disappear. By using a stability chip, you can improve the success rate by 5-10%.

Success Rate: 2 devices – 20%; 3 devices – 40%; 4 devices – 65%; 5 devices – 90%.

Limit: The highest rank of an optimizer is 10.
