This is the Armor of the well-known neo-human pilot LingLing. It is equipped with electromagnetism weapons -- the peacebreaker who was behind the “Bleeding Night” in 2128.

LingLing’s Armor made its safe retreat from enemy siege which outnumbered it by several hundred times after 27-hour fighting. This record could largely be owed to the reduction of 50% of its energy consumption.

There was only one experimental Armor of this model, and it was destroyed in the last battle in the second expedition.

Twinkle

Blood Thirst

Early in 2087, sensing the threat from Earth, Mars began to construct its own elite force. A special legion was created for special tasks, which had 8000 elite Armors under its command. To ensure the battle effectiveness of this force, a secret research named “Dawn” was started.

By 2110, “Twinkle” was developed and used to equip the special legion. Middle in the 1st Expedition, this special force accomplished many important missions with the aid of Twinkle, and it became a major headache of the Earth expedition armies.

The most “famous” Armor in human history. It is the first Armor applying brainwaves transmit & control technique. Taking neo-human’s strong brainwaves as its strength, “Blood Thirst” became the first Armor which perfectly combines pilots and Armors abilities.

This Armor was so excellent that it could even eliminate the blind area of long-range weapons. The overjoyed governors of Mars commanded to put it into mass producing without waiting for its all-around testing was finished.

In 2129, the Mars Second Legion which was equipped with the first 3000 Blood Thirst soon achieved its success. The legion once even drove the battlefront to 18 kms from the moon defence line.

However, the nightmare was soon followed. In “Dead Storm” Encounter, more than 7500 Blood Thirst of Mars Legion went abnormal; the pilots began to attack madly without distinguishing friends and enemies.

The accidents directly resulted in large-scale chaos on the right wing of Mars Legion. The Earth force took this chance and attacked from the right wing, which threatened the safety of one side of the central legion. Mars could do nothing but retreat by that time.

Critical defects in brainwaves transmit and control technique was detected later on. When the Armor was started-up, the pilot’s brainwaves were in Alpha condition, and would be very sensitive to external distribution. When the distribution reached certain level, the pilot’s brainwaves would be greatly influenced—and often led to nerve system symptoms.

The result of the investigation shocked the whole Mars, and researches on brain protection facilities received unprecedented attention.
