The slow progress on weapon enhancement made the development of neo-human Armors come into a choke point. Meanwhile, the Earth Expeditionary Force achieved breakthrough in enhanced-human Armor research. High level enhanced-human Armors were used to equip their forces.
Mars’ advantages on technology became thinner. In “Grant Space Station Battle” in 2113, the Mars legion gathered 370,000 Armors and space battleships of all types to fight against the 1,200,000 army of the Earth Expeditionary Force.
It lasted for 3 months; the Earth Expeditionary Force eliminated 290,000 Mars soldiers by paying the cost of 750,000 lives, the Mars was compelled to retreat.
This battle greatly weakened Mars advantages at Grant Space Station. Mars legion had to transfer forces from “Storm” for support.
The situation urged Mars to develop new Armors. In 2134, a new generation of neo-human Armor was created. Its general weapon system received remarkable enhancement.
“Stars” came as an Armor of new generation. Despite enhancement of weapons, its capacitances, energy cover resistance and body resistance were also considerably improved.
The success of Stars consolidated Mars advantages on technologies.

On an assault in 2125, the special force “Thor” of the Earth Expeditionary Force gained the design data of “Myth”. The Earth Federation Government soon started to develop neo-human Armors according to these data.
While as the research went on, the scientists found that the key data and explanation were not clearly stated. They had to assign more researchers to this project.
The development of “Myth” was not finished until year 2132. The code analysis after the war suggested that the design data was released by Mars on the purpose of distracting the Earth research attention.
By using an incomplete profile, the Mars successfully trapped its enemy and established its advantages on technologies.
The only comfort to the Earth Federation Government was the result that Myth showed better overall performance than the top-class Armors in Mars legion. But regretfully, although Myth applied general enhanced facilities in its weapon system, its assistant fire-range system could only be used to optimize particle weapons.

“Nightfall” is the complete version of the leaked “Myth”. The figuration of the Armor and its experiment data were finished in 2128, but the development was put off because of the war and its high cost.
“Nightfall” research was restarted in 2134, and the first experimenting model was finished in the summer of 2135. But its use was limited due to the high cost.
The enhancement of Nightfall covered some key attributes of long-range Armors. Compared with Myth, the most distinctive feature of Nightfall was that its fire-range enhancement was not only limited to particle weapons.
In the Solar System Security War, Nightfall was one of the few models which could outperform Armors of Space Legion on single unit basis.
