Particle Weapon in Age of Armor
The Particle Weapon is also called Particle Beam Weapon, by accelerating electrons, protons or hydroniums to the speed as 0.6~0.7 times fast as the light, then transmiting them out. When particles meet impendiments, the kinetic energy that particles bring will transmit into impentdiments and destroy them. Becaouse of characters that could drill through cloud and mist and so on, it is slightly better than laser weapon.

Until now, only US, Russia and rare other countries have the ability of researching the Paricle Weapon. Former Soviet Russia publicized 1000GeV Bevatron (One Mev) and Proton Beam Setting in Oct,1968. It had begun doging researches on the wepaon notion scince the 1970s and had got great breakthroughs in the1980s.

Contemporarily, US was also active in reserching the Particle Beam Weapon. Because of the diffrence in the task, development and emphasis,Marine Corps, Army and Ari Forces seperately put froward different requests on the Particle Weapon in 1979. By using the Particle Weapon, Marine Corps used to defense Air Forces, meanwhile, there were two kinds of Particle Weapons for Army, one was Medium Particle Beam Weapon for air fighting and the other was Electro-Particle Beam Weapon used in land fighting.

The damaging material in the Particle Beam Weapon is particle beam. During the transmition,it produces γ radial and destroyes the target by causing heat, electromagnetsim or chemical damages. When it hits the target, the ennergy runs up to 7-10 MJ, this is kinetic damage(including destroyes on the configuration); when the energy runs up to 0.01-0.1MJ, the electromagnetism destroyes the target by causing explosions and damages. The main character of the Particle Beam Weapons is that it hits the target by transmiting the particle beam, but the particle beam does not hit the target directly, around the particle beam is γ radial, it could bring other damages.
